Thinking of running for an elected position as a republican in Pulaski County?
Here are some things you need to do and/or be aware of:
You must file as a republican candidate between noon, February 23, 2012 &
noon, March 1, 2012 with the
Pulaski County
County Clerk with the following documents:
Party Pledge and
Affidavit of Eligibility
both also available as Microsoft Word documents from the Pulaski County Republican Committee. Also available is a simple Candidate Profile sheet.
Before you file with the County Clerk, you will also need to pay the Pulaski County Republican Committee the republican filing fee, which varies depending on the office you are seeking.
The Pulaski County Election Commission can provide you with "2012 Candidate Filing Information - Federal/State/County Candidates" (Where to File, When to File & What to File)
There are also several documents from the Arkansas Ethics Commission that you need to be aware of, including:
